One of the most celebrated folk musicians of her generation, Nancy Kerr‘s emergence as a fiddler and singer songwriter of rare style has drawn comparisons to William Blake in her reawakening of folk mythology as a backdrop for contemporary narratives about love, conflict, rural and urban life. Joined on stage by James Fagan, Tom Wright (Albion band), fiddler Rowan Rheingans (Lady Maisery) and bassist Tim Yates (Blackbeard’s Tea Party), this is a stunning showcase of Kerr’s acclaimed solo album, Sweet Visitor.
