A recent survey by ChildLine found that over half of the young people who responded said they would feel too embarrassed to talk to an adult about a private or personal problem.
The survey marks the start of a campaign to encourage young people to contact ChildLine with any problem – big or small. Posters and adverts will feature the message that ‘whatever your worry, it’s better out than in'.
A new look website for young people also provides more advice about typical problems young people worry about and information on what would happen if they get in touch with ChildLine.
For confidential advice and support from someone you can trust. Call ChildLine on 0800 11 11 or visit ChildLine.org.uk
