Calne Youth Development Centre offers loads of stuff to do.....
Join in with a range of activities from:- multi channel TV, X Box, PS2, Karaoke, Snooker & Pool Table & Air Hockey.
We also have DJ equipment for those wishing to learn DJ skills with trained young people running this with you.
Internet Access is available, along with a chill out area where you can chat to friends, a large hall for basketball, badminton, football etc, art and craft area and a coffee bar.

Weekly Activities
Monday
SK8 / Bike Session - 4.30pm- 6.30pm.
Develop your skills. This session runs weekly so if you are interested, then just come along on the day.

Football Skills Night - 7.00pm - 9.30pm
Develop your ability and learn the sport effectively. Sessions are run in the hall, on the court or outside and will involved 4 or 5 aside.
We are aiming to ask other youth centres to play in a mini league. Contact Lia Palmer, a youth worker who works on a Monday night for more information. Wear comfy clothes and trainers.
Sign Language Course - 7.30 - 8.30pm, a new course is starting up in January, so sign up now if you are interested.
Reiki Healing - 6.30pm to 9.30pm - half hour slots and its FREE, ring the centre to make an appointment.
Tuesday
7.00 - 9.00pm - Open session.
You can get involved in cooking including food hygiene training.
Wednesday
7.15pm - 9.00pm - privately run Karate club, anyone can just turn up on the night and meet the instructors. contact the centre for more details or turn up to talk to the instructors.
Arts Awards also runs at the same time if you are interested.
Thursday
6.00 - 8.00pm Roots N Motion dance class - £1.00 per session, aged 13-19.

6.30 - 8.30 - New Graffiti project starting 15th November.
For a minimum of 4 weeks, to start with.
Its free, just the usual 30p entry fee.
Wear old clothes and protective clothing will be provided. Young People will learn the art of stenciling and how to apply this to canvbas to create their own graffiti 'boards/designs'. A large mural will be produced to reflect on what young people think about Calne, form their perspective.
They will be given a certficate of stenciling art for graffiti at the end of the project.
7.00 -9.30pm - Arts Award Night
Come along if you are interested in signing up for the Arts Award and meet a trained advisor. Find out what it is about, how to achieve the award. It is a chance for anyone interested in arts of any form to be accreditied for it and achieve a qualification that is recognised as a GSCE standard.

Friday
Interested in Dance? Friday is our dance night! Street Dance starts up again in January 2008. Sorry for the delay.
7.00 - 8.00pm - Street Dance continues. For young people up to year 8 of secondary school.
8.00 - 9.00pm - Street Dance Class 2 is for young people in years 9 - 12 of secondary school.
Both sessions are run by a qualified coach and is free, contact the youth centre first in an evening for a start date.
