'Baby Borrowers Project'
on Thursday's in Wootton Bassett...

Baby Borrowers DVD & Quiz (Prize for the most correct answers)
The role of the media - How does it effect people's views?
Positive relationships - What do you think is important?
What does it mean to be a parent? - Use of electronic babies
Those involved will have to be a parent for a day & a night & record how they feel it goes on a mobile phone / camera!
Speak to your Youth Development Worker at your local Youth Centre if you would like to join in on the next project...
Young People in Purton Youth Development Centre are also finding out more about parenting & will be using the 'Baby Simulators' Mid-July.

Young People from Purton & Wootton Bassett met up with teachers, Youth workers & members of local council at 'UFI' in Wootton Bassett.
They discussed some of the issues that concerned them most when thinking about their community area.
Ranking top of the list was...
Peer Pressure/Self Image, Drug/Alcohol Use, Personal Safety & Pregnancy/STD's
The group are going to try to focus on the issue of Peer Pressure/Self Image & work with other Young Pepole to address problems in this area by creating a project & finding funding for it to run locally.
