Young Writers Wanted

It has come to our attention that there are a lot of you out there who enjoy creative writing! More and more young people have approached WYAP about opportunities to get involved with anything from journalism, poetry, story writing and more! It’s a shame that there aren’t many workshops or venues for those interested in writing to take part in and WYAP wants to change that!

We are soon to be setting up a Young Writers group who will have the chance to take part in creative writing workshops and meet professional artists, and will also be involved with editing a county wide magazine and our website.


Do you enjoy writing but haven’t explored it further?!
Are you interested in Journalism?!
Do you enjoy working with Media and want to see your own work published?!?!
Perhaps you just want somewhere you can explore your creativity?!

You don't have to commit to weekly get togethers or work in large groups - your contribution can be what you want it to be. In return we will be offering many things including creative writing workshops, experiecne with a journalism team, taster days with website managers & free tickets to shows and outings.
