Calshot residential 2010

A group of young people from the Mere and Tisbury community areas of Wiltshire got the oppourtunity to go on a 3 day residential to Calshot activity centre where we did a range of activitys some of those activitys we did were:

skiing/snowboarding on an indoor dry slope.

We also did archery which was very challenging

We ab sailed from a rock climbing wall in 2 different groups 1 at at time{scary}

We tried to get to the top of the rock climbing wall even some poeple reached the top even though they were scared of hights, we also had races to the top of the wall at the end as a result of this Rhys came first, and Simon {youthworker} came second.

high ropes : we were in groups and had to be harnessed up and led by our team mates, this was a good team building exercise as we had to complete challanges and compete against other teams.

We did a challenging obstacle outside, the best/worst bit was going through a really dark tunnel

we stayed in a residential home where we slept we were in groups of 3-4 per room

To take part in this residential the youth workers chose a group who had excelled during the leisure credits scheme in the previous months
