Thrive Dance Festival DVD
On 1st May 2010, 200 dancers from all across Wiltshire came together to perform at Thrive dance festival in Trowbridge Park. This was an extremely diverse event with perfomances from P.O.P dance groups at Chippenham, Westbury, Salisbury,Tidworth, Pewsey and Trowbridge.
WYAP also joined in, and hosted a MusicMatters tent which included performances from 2 3/4 and Electric Contradiction as well as free workshops for anyone to participate in.
The day turned out tobe hugely successful and a fantastic experience for those performing.
"I think today has been fantasic, there have been so many youth groups coming together to perform and participate in workshops and just have a really fun day.....young people from P.O.P Youth Dance Project have been utterly overwhelmed, they could not believe the size of the audience that had come to see them perform. They've been dancing all day and have really enjoyed themselves, it's been brilliant" - Corinna.
