Who Are The Small Town Rivals?

 

The Popular band Radio Monkey have changed there name to ‘The Small Town Rivals’, but don’t worry there still the same band making the same great catchy ‘Indie’ pop music we all know and love.

 

For all those who having been living under a rock The Small Town Rivals (formerly known as Radio Monkey) formed in early 2010 and consist of three young boys from Wiltshire/Dorset.  These boys are Jamie Easton - Guitar/Vox, George Appleton - Drums/Vox and Lawrence Mills - Bass.

The band are very indie taking influences from such artists as Jamie T, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party and YouMeAtSix. They take these bands are combine the styles into something fresh and new.

With 2010 just starting the band are sure that they will secure even more of a fan base than they already have.

 

Also look out for new tunes, a more grown up sound and an E.P very soon.
