Salisbury holds Auditions: Solo Guitarist Ben

Salisbury youth centre held an audition night for young people to participate in an awards ceremony. Auditioning consisted of 4 dance groups, 3 DJ’s, 1 band, and 1 solo guitarist

The final act to perform was a solo guitarist, Ben.

Ben (20’s) who lives in Salisbury first started to play the guitar when he was 8 years old. Being inspired by 80’s heavy metal Ben also learnt to play the drums. Ben became more confident in playing as he would always get positive feedback from others.

Ben: ‘I wanted to audition as I’ve never received feedback from anyone so when I did I thought it would be a good idea to compete.’
