During the summer of 2008, 30 students with a physical impairment completed a simple statement for  Lyn Vines, their  specialist pastoral support  advisor. It said ‘I’d like you to know that…..’ The students completed the statement however they wanted to. Lyn wanted to find out the students’ true feelings and to inform her own practice.

The result was a lot of very powerful, amusing and thought provoking statements reflecting many different areas of these students’ lives – we think these views are important, so we’ve turned them into posters to share them with you.  These were part of Wilshire’s ‘No Barriers’ week in December 2008, and many schools and community settings have bought them, to put on display.
