Exciting opportunities for young people’s projects in the Pewsey Community Area

Funding is available from the Pewsey Area Board for innovative projects led by young people in the Pewsey community area.  The money will be allocated to projects by public vote at the Pewsey Area Board on 12 November at Burbage Village Hall.

Applications will be shortlisted, and the selected groups of young people will be invited to present their ideas for projects.  The projects must address issues for young people within the 8-19 age range in this area.  Groups can apply for up to £1,000 towards their project.  There is a total of £4,500 available towards these projects, so it is possible that not all who apply will be shortlisted or successful.

Everyone present at the meeting on 12 November will be able to vote on how to allocate the funding.  So even if you don’t put in an application you can still come along and hear about the projects and join in with the voting.

The application process is now open and the documents you need can be downloaded here.  The deadline for applications is Monday 1 October 2012.
