Dancing for age no barriers week!

Holly Savage, Age 15.

As part of Shine and Agen No Barriers week we went to Ludgershall Ufi to help the younger kids from Collingbourne Youth Group dance, it was an hour street dance workshop. The children were given a small routine to learn which they learnt really quickly and performed very well. They then had to go off into little group and had to put together a little routine with the help of me, Jade and Cheryl. The children were very creative and had alot of fun doing this. They were then given a final routine to finish the peice with, the children learnt the motifs very quickly and had smiles on there faces throughout the whole workshop. It was alot of fun working with them as i dont often do things with younger people, i would love to do it again.

Cheryl Lowe, Age 17.

Me, Holly and Jade went to ludgershall youthy on the 14th July to help teach children from Collingbourne Ducis a dance routine. It was a small routine but they picked it up really quickly, they also performed it really good. They also had to split up in pairs and with our help they had to make up a few moves combining a roll and a jump. The children were really creative and had lots of fun doing this. They then had to learn the end of the routine which they also got really quickly. They all had really big smiles on their faces at the end of this because of what they had acheived. It was so much fun and really good ,as i dont really do many things with children. It made it all the worth while seeing the smiles on their faces.

Me, Holly and Cheryl went to ludgershall Ufi to help Corinna  teach 8-12 year olds from Collingbourne  a small dance routine. They acted like they enjoyed it and we really did. They participated really well.
