Locality C does National Citizen Service (NCS)
Year 11? Fancy a summer full of fun, challenges and the chance to make a big difference to your local community?
Locality C (Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge and Melksham community areas) are putting together 'Team 2012'.
So far team members have volunteered and fundraised at the Bradford on Avon Sports Festival and Holt Music Festival, and been to Go Ape.
They are also planning bag packing, a sky dive and a fashion show to fundraise the rest of their £1750 target, which will go towards the cost of their activities and social action project.
Upcoming activities include:
Go Karting
A four day outdoor activity residential in Surrey (canoeing, climbing, high ropes, etc)
A four day practical skills and independent living residential in Wiltshire (including First Aid training, Food Hygiene training and developing skills like budgeting and marketing)
Planning and carrying out a social action project
Celebration and review day at Center Parcs
