A series of FREE technology experiences for students aged 16 - 19. Sessions take place over three days at further education colleges in the region and offer students a unique experience and insight into higher educational Foundation Degrees in a fun and instructive college environment.
The three-day activities are a mixture of practical and taught sessions including learning about robotics, designing a smart card and website, the practicalities of how a combustion engine works and motorsports at Castle Combe race track. Working with college tutors, students will gain new skills, make new friends and chat with current University students; leaving with enjoyable memories and the knowledge to help them progress in their career.
These non-residential activities are aimed at young people in years 11 and 12, and those aged 16 - 19 in apprenticeships, studying 14-19 diplomas, NVQs, National Diplomas and those in work.
