Educational trust funds invite applications

The William ‘Doc’ Couch Trust provides around £100,000 a year for grants to help children and young people throughout Wiltshire who have disabilities or other needs.

The Colonel William Llewellen Palmer Educational Charity aims to support children, young people, schools and youth organisations in Bradford on Avon.

Forms for the two trusts are available now, and the deadline for submitting a grant request and supporting paperwork is Monday, June 14. Trustees of both funds will meet during the second half of July and the successful applicants should be notified by mid August.

Last year the William ‘Doc’ Couch Trust made a total of 52 awards totalling more than £100,969.

Application forms for all trusts are available from Wiltshire Council on 01225 713784 or by email studentfinance@wiltshire.gov.uk. The closing date for applications is June 14.
