DJ Competition Results!

On Thursday 1st April we held a DJ competition for young people in Salisbury. Young people were given a 10 - 15 minute slot to impress a panel of 3 judges!

3 young DJs entered and not only did they have to impress the judges they also had to impress an audience of about 25.

The DJs were playing for the chance to DJ at Club Ice in Westbury on April 22nd in front of 500 young people from across the county, so there was alot at stake! All of them had planned the set they were going to play.

The DJ that impressed most was Shane Sanderson, 17, from Salisbury, Shane has been DJing for about 4 years and is hoping that DJing at Club Ice is his chance to get noticed and further his career. Shane took part because he wanted to prove he was good enough to DJ at Clubs and could get a job in DJing- he definiately proved himself!

The other two participants were both new comers and had only been DJing for a few months but still both did a brilliant job, and I can see them also going far.

Liam Griffiths was awarded a runners up prize of a slot of spark radio- so keep an ear out for that!
