It was that time again where we got together to make right the world of Melksham Community Area.

This time we discussed:

• Summer activity programme - which has loads of amazing activities for you to get involved in.

• The Area Board Bids - upto £1000 towards your ideas, all you have to do is fill out a bid form. Got an idea? Come see Sarah to get it going

• The Melksham Campus - We were asked our opinions and ideas for what would go on the campus. The idea is that Melksham has many Wiltshire Council run buildings, so they are thinking about putting them all into one area and calling it a campus. We got in their first to share our ideas and get the young peoples voice heard.

• Centre Equipment - we made decisions about the computers and new tv to buy for the centre taking a vote. So new stuff on it's way.

• Canberra Camping Trip - the cost per person was put to the group (£55) and the young people chose to make a £15 contribution to the trip to the New Forest.

• We discussed the fair at the Melksham Carnival and debated where it should go, the arguments were it should stay the same so people know where it is, although if it went somewhere else it would need to be central like the rugby area and could get bigger in a bigger space.

• Finally we talked about the Bluez & Zuz events, where we thought they could be held and how we might alter them to make them more accessible to young people. We also thought that having a group of young people in on the planning of the events would be a good way to keep it all for young people.

So as you can see we were rather busy, thank you to all of you who attended and fingers crossed we'll see some changes happening to put our decisions in place.
