Cookery Masterclasses with Chef Martin Burge

Did you miss out the chance to meet and learn cookery masterclasses with Chef Martin Burge on June this year? Then be sure to mark your calendars for next year’s event. The Cookery Masterclasses in Malmesbury will be held at Whatley Manor Hotel and Spa on these dates: 23rd January, 12th June and 13th November 2017. The masterclasses will take place from 9am, and will finish at around 5:30pm.

These masterclasses will increase your confidence when using ingredients and kitchen equipment, whether you are a seasoned cook or beginner.

Arrive from 9.00am for tea or coffee and biscuits. At 9.30am Martin will welcome you into the kitchen where you will have a brief induction. Around 12.30pm you will break for lunch in Le Mazot brasserie to enjoy one of the courses you have just made. At 1.30pm you will return to the kitchen where you will be making a dessert and finishing off your starter. You will take both the starter and the dessert home with you. At 3.30pm it’s time for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake, before putting the finishing touches to your creations. The masterclass ends approximately 5.30pm.

£200 includes;

  • Tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival
  • Masterclass with Martin Burge
  • A Whatley Manor apron
  • The masterclass recipes
  • Two-course set lunch with a glass of wine
  • Tea or coffee and cake served in the afternoon
  • You will take home two of the courses that you have made home with you
  • Water will be served throughout the day

You will be provided with all essential kitchen equipment. For health and safety reasons guests must wear non-slip, fully covered footwear otherwise access to the kitchen will be refused.

Masterclasses are kept to a minimum of 12 and are popular. Early booking is advised.
