This year’s Village Pump annual fundraising event will be this 25 November at Trowbridge Town Hall. The Village Pump annual fundraising event is proudly supported by Trowbridge Arts and Trowbridge Town Hall. All proceeds of the event will go to Dorothy House Hospice Care.

A Night for Dorothy Programme

8.00        Rosie Upton and Pete MacGregor Performing a mix of traditional and original material, Rosie’s rich voice is particularly well suited to the occasional blues and Pete is a Scottish singer, songwriter and guitarist whose distinctive voice is accompanied by sensitive guitar arrangements.

8.30        Sid Bloomfield Inventive story-teller and musician who shares the same sense of the bizarre and outrageous as Merv.

9.00        Bryony McGinty Her always well-chosen material is delivered to perfection in a clear voice, uncluttered by instrumentation and balanced by just the right level of emotional intensity.

9.45        Merv Grist and Steve Williams Truly original wordsmiths and poets who are as inventive as they are entertaining.

10.15      Mike Scott A Bristolian singer, songwriter and guitarist whose meaningful songs about the odd events and characters of everyday life indicate an intuitive understanding of the human condition that is perfectly in-tune with his audience.
